ОК.. How about positioning the strobes lower on both sides? They'll get in the frame?

They have more to do with the position of the camera and less with the position of the flashes.
As the photo was taken almost vertically, from top to bottom, the position of the flashes is here unimportant.
It is almost always the shadow on the ground, in this case over the anemone.
