I know the shot is all skill. On the comp part do you wait for someone to swim by or do you have it planned out? You have a lot of great shots like this and I just don't seem to be able to get other divers to cooperate. What is your process?

Usually my model is my partner in life and also diving buddy.
It's not easy to the model figure out which is the position that the photographer intended in particular photo, but after some time training, make signals underwater and working together, things came almost naturally.
I participate in underwater photography contests and one of the mandatory themes is wide angle or environment with diver, so there is a need to have someone to work with me underwater.

Sounds like what I need. That and a WAL. I am not happy not being able to shoot wide angle as it is my favorite type of underwater photography.
